Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

If you are happy to drop off food donations we would be pleased to receive them at any of our  7 Foodbank Centres during our  opening hours (see Locations page for full details.)

Tesco and/or Asda Food Collection Points are intended for food that has been purchased in-store.

Donations from “in-store shoppers only” can be made whilst shopping at the stores below:

Location of food donation point     Opening hours Comments
Tesco Portwood and Handforth Dean and Aldi Offerton All shop hours  Basket behind check outs

Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought to a collection point should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis.
